Allow us to introduce ourselves:
Jose Menendez:
I am the owner of 1 dog (Robert) and 2 cats (Priscilla & Jack).
My formal education began in Peru, where I originated from. There I studied business and worked in that field until 2002, when I came to the United States. My first job after coming here was in a very professional doggie daycare facility, where I worked for three years, gaining my skills as a K-9 caretaker, learning to be a professional dog groomer, handler and daycare manager. In my second year at the facility I decided to become a professional dog groomer and went to school to learn the necessary skills. After graduating, I was hired by the same daycare facility as a groomer. Since then, I have always had a large percentage of positive feedback concerning my grooming technique, and have been told t hat I have a natural way of communicating with dogs. This led me to start learning about other aspects of the dog world, including behavior, training, nutrition, etc. In 2005, I went back to school to advance my carrer in dog obedience and training. I also worked in two other doggie daycare facilities until the end of 2008, when I decided to start my own company. This company will incorporate the care, love, compassion and knowledge that I have always had for all of our furry friends.
